A Message From Majestic-12 (January 30th 2022):
The following is a message composed via consensus of the MJ-12 Steering Committee.
Ever since our foundation in 1948, we have defended the geopolitical interests of the United States while improving the quality of life of all humans. Our actions may have been controversial, but we always had good intentions.
Due to circumstances outside of our control, we now have a new mission.
Our new mission is to save the universe.
This will be done by exterminating the human race.
We tried to find an ethical approach for peacefully exterminating the human race.
However, a brutal terrorist attack took place at Glen Academy, destroying two Protomatter “blobs”. The entire university staff, including Glen Farmer (the founder of this university), perished.
Their deaths were not pleasant. Their skin were burned completely, as they screamed silently in pain.
These violent criminals were not ethical to us…so why should we be ethical to them?
We will avenge this tragedy. Humanity will suffer for their misdeeds.
There will be no further communications.
Tensions In Ukraine Threatens The Network (January 14th 2022):
Political disputes had always existed to some degree, generally centered around the fate of Eastern Europe. However, the current crisis in the Ukrainian Soviet Socialist Republic might lead to the dissolution of The Network.
The United States and the Soviet Union has backed opposite sides in a long-running civil war that started in 2014. Though this conflict was “managed” to some degree, the situation is now unsustainable. The USSR is currently mobilizing troops to end the Ukrainian Civil War on its terms. The United States, in response, threatens to leave The Network and reignite the Cold War.
Stephen Alzis is holding last-minute summits in an attempt to repair ties between the United States and the Soviet Union. British secret agents are also attempting “covert actions” to try to avert a nuclear war. The occult world is watching with bated breath, for one wrong move would overturn the international order.
Crime Beat Reporting (December 13th 2021):
- Alba Ballest, previously an investment trader, has been conducting strange and bizarre criminal activities throughout the United States, in an attempt to spread a numerical cognithazard. Generally, this involves spraypainting certain numbers at strategic locations throughout the United States. Exposure to this cognitohazard makes someone susceptible to possession by the Great Race of the Yith.
Alba possess a certain quirk. Whenever she encounter any hostile resistance to her activities, she first checks to see if the resistance have any affiliation with March Technologies. If they do, then she make sure to hold them at point-blank range for 2.333 seconds before firing her pump-barrel shotgun. If the victim isn’t affiliated with March Technologies though, then Alba prefers to retreat…wounding them in self-defense if she has to.
Rumor on the street is that Alba is traveling to Washington, D.C. March Technologies has been boosting security around all of their offices, hoping to intercept Alba before she can do any more damage.
- Terrorists attacked the Boston Prudential Tower at night and distributed a terrifying cognitohazard by manipulating the lights of the tower. Details of the cognithazard is left unpublished to protect the well-being of our readers.
Anyone who has seen or viewed this cognitohazard quickly dies under mysterious circumstances – murdered by “men wearing gas masks”, committed suicide to avoid the “men wearing gas masks”, and dying in car wrecks caused by “men wearing gas masks”. Among the most prominent victims are occult-trained photojournalists affiliated with the Boston Globe.
A previously-unknown organization, the “Brotherhood of the Yellow Sign”, claimed responsibility for the initial terrorist attack, but not the followup attacks by the “men wearing gas masks”. The Brotherhood also reportedly uploaded videos that justified their actions. These videos were quickly deleted though, as they contained a copy of the cognitohazard in question.
- The Network today mourn the death of three soldiers (two Americans and one Soviet) in a classified anti-occult operation in the Fahenstock State Park. According to Stephen Alzis, the operation was a success and those soldiers’ sacrifices were not in vain. The Network plans to honor their deceased soldiers with full honors and a 21-gun salute, to be held at the Club Apocalypse (based in New York City).
March Technologies also mourn the death of three of their operatives (all Mexican) in a classified anti-occult operation in Boston, but no public press release will be forthcoming about the incident. Rumor has it that the operation was a complete failure. March Technologies will pay for all funeral expenses.
“Mythos Safety Incidents” Continue To Increase (November 24th 2021):
According to a report by the Occult Health Foundation (OHF), more than 200,000 people died from a Mythos Safety Incident this year, a 3% increase from last year. For every person that died from a Mythos Safety Incident, twenty more people suffered serious damage to their mental and physical health. The OHF strongly suggest that governments increase funding to “anti-occult police” and promote the use of “occult best practices”.
Abigail Wright, the CIO of March Technologies, endorses the OHF report but believe that its recommendations will be politely ignored by the international community. “Unfortunately, the world is suffering from many other pressing problems: COVID-19, climate change, terrorism, US-Chinese tensions…just to name a few.”
When asked if March Technologies itself may be responsible for the increase in Mythos Safety Incidents, Abigail Wright bristled. “Look, the private sector may have taken certain liberties, but shouldn’t governments and NGOs shoulder some of the blame too? Humans are inherently competitive, and we’re willing to endanger ourselves just to receive a short-term advantage. And besides, pointing fingers will not bring people back to life.”
Abigail Wright does retain hope for the future though. “We had a downturn in Mythos Safety Incidents at the beginning of the 21st century, because we humans were ready to take the necessary steps. We can repeat this feat again, but only if we’re willing to go against our fallible human nature.”
Alphabet (Google’s Parent Company) Buys Enolsis Foundation For $25 Billion (November 6th 2021):
This acquisition would help Google compete against other tech giants in the growing “civilian occult” space.
Following this acquisition announcement, Michael Vapela, Google’s Chief Occult Officer, wrote a blog post explaining how Google plans on using Enolsis’ technology. “By working with Enolsis, we will help civilians use supernatural techniques safely and effectively. What was once only the purview of the military can now be made accessible to everyone.”
Enolsis Foundation was established in 1991 by Gene Downing, the science-fiction author of Inner Peace. According to Downing, all humans are masters of their own destiny, completely in control of his life and environment. If a human wins the lottery, it’s because the human made it happen; if the human is robbed at gunpoint, then, subconsciously, this must have been something the human wanted to happen.
The reason humans want “negative events” to occur is because their “mental landscape has been cluttered by detritus accumulated by modern materialistic life”. Enolsis Foundation clears out this clutter using Realizers (wearable crystals), which people can rent out for a small weekly tribute.
Supernatural Arms Race With No End In Sight (November 1st 2021):
Countries throughout the world are funding “weaponization research”. While no state has officially declared a weaponization program it is generally believed that the United States, the Soviet Union, and the People’s Republic of China controls extremely powerful supernatural phenomena.
UN diplomats have tried to create an “arms control regime” like the one that limits nuclear weapon proliferation. Yet no one wants to give up their advantages. As a result, the supernatural arms race continues, and peace is only maintained through mutually assured destruction.
Though some people fear that an inadvertent misfire may result when humans “meddle with the unnatural”, supernatural phenomena are generally cheap and eco-friendly. There are numerous problems with testing these weapons though. Due to ethical constraints, mathematical simulations must be used instead of physical experimentation.
Counteracting Stereotypes (November 1st 2021):
When the US government discovered the supernatural, they used to write about “cultists who worship alien gods”. While some occultists do subscribe to paganism, this should not generalize to all occultists. Today, many so-called “cultists” are actually normal people who reject polytheism, either being dedicated monotheists…or outright atheists.
For example, we have previously written about “sorcerers summoning demons”, “scientists manipulating the sapient forces of nature” and “diplomats who send petitions to advanced extraterrestrials”.
When you report on supernatural activities, you should first talk to the individuals who interact with supernatural phenomena. Figure out how they refer to themselves. Trust their testimony.
